2012. Square (Newspaper)
This was drawn from the the given subject, ‘square’. After defining that square ‘contains things,’ I concluded that the things were ‘the information’ and I began to work with ‘newspaper’ which typically contains the information in a square format.
Usage of the front-page of everyday newspaper; the front-page of newspaper usually carries the implication of the headlines, which I believe is important to show the continued duration for the certain news and the importance of the topics.
1. Square: gothic font and photo images (The element was minimised because it is distinctive between texts and images when seen at the area of the layout.)
2. Dotted Square: ming-style font
3. Square in Red: advertisement + each different topic was distinguished by the use of colours.
