Poems of Resistance

2012. Silent yet Strong Gesture of the Day

This work dealt with the poems of resistance written during the Japanese occupation of Korea, and was designed to find the same meaning as different materials/words/subjects in the poems.
It consists of four sections such as
1. Black Square;
Japanese occupation,
2. White Square with Borders in Black;
our peaceful land which means Korean territory before Japanese occupation,
3. Red Square;
emotional appealed by citizens,
4. White Square with Borders in Red;
our soon-to-be-liberated land.
